DNA
I've
been dreaming and modeling DNA in my head for many years! I've taught a
couple thousand students the DNA basics over the years and had them
build models out of every imaginable material. In glass I failed with 5
or 6 previous designs but finally I've finished...
...and got it to the light of day. I'm very happy with it! to say the least. The glass splashes light everywhere!
I've had many mental models, hundreds of student models in paper, candy, pipe insulation...and a few failed stained glass models, alas, such is the way of the world...

Old Wheels New Glass
My latest diversion... find old bike wheels and attach some Art Glass to the spokes.Swapped this one for some wheels.
My mechanic friend (and wheel supplier) holds it up to the light.
giving them an unnatural yellow tinge.

Piliated Woodpecker
My phone doesn't ring - instead this bird calls for my attention (and startles others). I made this one for my brother who had one of these nesting in his backyard (or at least in a nearby park). I've been fortunate enough to hear Piliated Woodpeckers (Dryocopus pileatus) often and see them occasionally even snap a photo from which this was modeled. This panel measures 10 by 18 and is framed with zinc came.

Lamp
I made this lamp six or seven years ago and it has aged well. The classic Frank Lloyd Wright design never goes out of style and the light shines softly year after year.
